Welcome to the XML Translator documentation! There should be something for you, whether you are an existing user, potential user or just curious.

About

XML Translator allows you to convert events and team codes in XML files from match analysis tools (e.g. Hudl Sportscode), so that files coded by other teams can be mapped to your unique schema. We provide:

• Automatic event type mapping with fuzzy matching
• Team name standardisation
• Manual mapping interface for reviewing and adjusting mappings
• User-defined aliases and custom mappings

We currently support the Hoofdklasse and Promotieklasse out of the box:

• Dutch teams are included by default
• English and Dutch translations of event types are included by default

You can still set up mappings for other leagues (e.g. if you have an XML file with French teams and event names). To see if native support for other leagues is planned, see the Roadmap.
